I frequently layer my work with images that express the space, textures and atmosphere of a particular place; not seeking to copy but to explore and respond to the qualities I observe.
Beauty in unexpected places
Beauty may be found in many places making the ordinary and everyday infinitely differing and exciting. The patina of weathering and the complexity of fractals add to the richness of life.
Art that speaks
The images I create have a sense of meaning and purpose. They come from a feeling that life is about more than the passing moment. The meaning may be religious, intellectual or emotional and vary for each and every viewer.
